Anyone who knows me at all knows that animal charities are very close to my heart. That said, I would like to introduce you to Willie. Willie is just one of many apes and monkeys currently living at Primarily Primates in San Antonio Texas. These poor guys have been through a lot lately! The entire facility was recently seized from its previous management due to improper veterinary care, unsanitary conditions, unsafe enclosures, overcrowding and a general lack of care for the animals.
Fortunately for Willie and the others though, new people are taking over and seeing that things are put right. The soft and comfy bed of hay and the contentment on Willie's face are just two of the things the new management has brought to the sanctuary. Unfortunately, this is no easy task! They need help if they are going to help all of the animals now in their care. Of course, one of the primary things needed (as always) is money, but there are plenty of other ways to help too!
