WindTwirler's Etsy Shop

Ok, so the first Etsy shop I'm featuring is WindTwirler's.  WindTwirler is a member of TeamEtsyTX.  Her shop features some really unique origami jewelry.  I've never seen anything quite like it and I am totally blown away!  Really gorgeous pieces, and of course all hand made.  Quite affordable too -- the above earrings go for $8.  So go check it out!

More about Etsy!!!

So I've been trying to get a bit more active in the Etsy community, and I've found not one, not two, but three fabulous teams full of great people to network with!

The first I joined was TeamCAC (Christian Artists and Crafters) which seems to be full of great people, although not terribly active.  I should probably take some initiative and talk a bit on the forums, but I'm far better at replying to threads than creating them, so I don't know how far I'll go with that one.

Next up was CAST (Christian Artists Street Team) and my is this one ever active!  It's hard to keep up sometimes!  Another great group of folks there with some really amazing shops and superb talent on display.  So glad I found this group!

Finally, I joined ETC (Etsy Texas Crafters aka TeamEtsyTX).  My application was approved just this morning, but it seems like a neat group.  They have all kinds of events like monthly sales, themed creation contests, and "secrets" where people can get a free item with another purchase.

So I've been thinking, there's gotta be a way I can support the folks in these three teams.  Oh!  I know!  I can feature their shops on my blog!  Look for the first feature tomorrow.

BunGirl's Creations

I'm always looking for ways to make a quick buck or two on the internet, and I've long been a fan of Etsy.com, so I suppose it's only natural that I would eventually open a shop there. For Christmas I got a gift card to Michaels which I used to buy some jewelry supplies. Years back I did a lot of beading and had a ton of stuff for it, but that's long since been lost. So I'm starting fresh. Here's my first piece for sale:
