I can't wait to see the new X-Men Movie!
Word of the day: Crepuscular
Definition: most active during twilight hours.
Exe. Bunnies are crepuscular animals, because they tend to be most active at dusk and dawn.
Since I taught a friend about this word today, I just thought I would share it with the rest of you. ;)

I'm still here
Ok, so it's been a couple of months... So sorry! Can you ever forgive me? Well, you can thank Jami for this post since she linked to me and I figured I ought to put something new up here for folks to read. Soooo... I have pictures to share! (Yeah, finally found the camera)
Here's the house (as promised):

And here's my two little puppy-angels:

That'll have to hold you for now -- I have to go prepare for a scrapboking workshop.
More soon (I promise!)

Same again... same again...
Well, the news is new, but it may sound like a repeat. I am again without a job, this time not by choice. For those of you who pray, please pray that God will continue to provide for myself and Grump as He always has, and that I would find the position He has in mind for me. Meanwhile, perhaps now I will have time to finish unpacking boxes and eventually find my camera so I can post some long overdue pictures for all to see!
In other news, I am still attempting to come to terms with a rather startling bit of bad news in my family. My mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer. They are fairly sure that they have caught it early enough to not have spread, but they will be running tests to be sure. Again, if you pray, please pray for wisdom for her doctors and health for her. She is still very upbeat about the whole thing -- she keeps saying that this is one way to lose some weight -- and she is relying on God to see her through this difficulty.
This has really not been my week. Next week can only be better!

Technical Difficulties
Please forgive my absence... We recently moved into the brand spanking new house in the brand spanking new development only to find out that it is indeed so new, in fact, that we are having issues getting an internet provider. Looks like I am going to be banished back to the stone age of dial up for a few months at least. What a pain! In the mean time, my digital camera is still MIA, so I can't even post pictures of the house, or of Ivan -- our new German Shepherd pup who is now Masha's constant companion. You'll just have to trust me when I say that he is irresistably cute! In other news, we have also adopted a missionary. Umm... that is a friend of ours who is raising money to go into international missions in Kazakhstan (sp?) moved in with us as well. So, currently the new house is home to three people, two dogs, three bunnies, four mice, more boxes that anyone has any right to have at one time, and a partridge in a pear tree. Hence the chaos. Anywho, thanks for the props Jami (you're so darned sweet!), and I'll get those pix up as soon as I possibly can!!!
