Technical Difficulties

Please forgive my absence... We recently moved into the brand spanking new house in the brand spanking new development only to find out that it is indeed so new, in fact, that we are having issues getting an internet provider. Looks like I am going to be banished back to the stone age of dial up for a few months at least. What a pain! In the mean time, my digital camera is still MIA, so I can't even post pictures of the house, or of Ivan -- our new German Shepherd pup who is now Masha's constant companion. You'll just have to trust me when I say that he is irresistably cute! In other news, we have also adopted a missionary. Umm... that is a friend of ours who is raising money to go into international missions in Kazakhstan (sp?) moved in with us as well. So, currently the new house is home to three people, two dogs, three bunnies, four mice, more boxes that anyone has any right to have at one time, and a partridge in a pear tree. Hence the chaos. Anywho, thanks for the props Jami (you're so darned sweet!), and I'll get those pix up as soon as I possibly can!!!

Oh, man...dial-up. Soooo very sorry to hear about that! And hope you can find your camera, soon! Ack! Your newest puppy sounds very adorable. /sigh Puppies are wiggly, puppies are cute!

Yeah, I keep hoping they will call me back and say "Oh, so sorry! We thought you meant the OTHER Angel Ln. Where your house is, you can have your choice of either DSL or Cable." But I don't think it's going to happen. In the meantime, I will just have to content myself with enjoying the wiggly cuteness. Life is so hard! ;)

So sorry about the dialup. Maybe you can give one of those "accelerators" a try.

Congrats on the new addition to the new home!

Dialup is still better than smoke signals. I was afraid we'd have the opposite problem a year so so ago when shopping for broadband: our house is more than 40 years old. Thankfully, the upgraded phone system could handle it.

You should charge admission to your little "zoo."

True -- much better than smoke signals... Can't blog by smoke signal! ;) Still, 26.4 kbps is just WRONG...
