In other news...

I guess it's been a while. I found a job... though that's not really true. The job found me. It's not great, but it's better than my last one, and it's a six month contract, so I can surely stick it out. If any of you are in the Love Field area, let me know -- we can do lunch some time!

Also, I recently changed over from Blockbuster Gamepass to Gamefly.com. If any of you out there are looking at either of these programs, I say go with Gamefly. So far I have been nothing but happy with them, and the "Game Q" is a great way to keep track of which titles you are still hoping to play.

Hmm... this is going to be a really game-related post. Last night we picked up Civ IV. I LOVE it!!! What a great game! It manages to capture all of the good stuff from Civ III, but add in all the stuff that you didn't know was missing.

Course, the biggest news is definitely Masha -- she is soooo cute! But then, you can already see that below. ;-) Having a puppy around the house really changes your routines. I dare say our household will never be the same again! Right now Magellan is kinda mad at us for bringing a dog into the house though. She'll get over it... she was mad when we got Bear too.

You know, when I started this post, I thought I had more news than this... maybe it will come to me later!

Your puppy is so very cute. So, you have how many pets? Are they all bunnies and one dog? Aw...I bet your house is full of cuddly little animals.

Did I ever tell you that I bought Sims 2 for the PS2? I hated it, at first, because I couldn't figure out how to queue up actions, but now I know how, so it's all good. :-)

So, is GameFly like Netflix for gamers?

Hooray for your new job!

Well, the present count is up to 8:
Masha - Husky
Magellan - Yellow Dutch Rabbit
Willie - Grey English Spot Rabbit
Bear - Brown Bunny (mutt) Rabbit
Mia - Brown and White Fancy Mouse w/red eyes
Katya - Black and White Fancy Mouse
Fiona - Brown and White Fancy Mouse
Guenevere - Grey and White Fancy Mouse

Really, though, I should count the mice as one since they are so small and self-sufficient. Caring for four is the same as caring for one. (except easier, since they entertain each other!)

Glad to hear you like TS2 on PS2. Is it similiar to Bustin Out? Or
more free-form like the PC games? It's on my Gamefly Q, but it has a
"short wait" on it.

Gamefly is just like Netflix. You give them a list of games you want
to try and they send you one, or two, or three, depending on your plan, at a time. I'm doing the two at a time plan. I just finished Lego Star Wars (Highly reccomended -- so cute!) and I'm now working on A Dog's Life (jury still out, though it seems promising). Anyway, they take
care of postage and all, and if anything is lost in the mail, you are not liable. Of course, if too much gets "lost" they may review and close your account, because I'm sure some folks use that to scam them. So far, I have no complaints about the service. Their website is super easy to use, and they're very prompt with shipments. The return process is also super easy. If you're thinking of signing up for a rental plan, I would say definitely give them a look!

Nothing changes your life quite like getting a dog. Their love is (usually) unconditional and they don't care if you haven't showered in three or four days. In fact, they kind of like that. Congrats!
