Wanna be a ChaCha Guide?

Ok, quite some time ago I promised I'd talk more about ChaCha. The reason I didn't get into it too much before is that I couldn't invite anyone to become a guide anyway! Now, they have opened up invitations again, and I just thought I'd share this great opportunity.

ChaCha gives folks like me (and maybe you!) the chance to earn some money from home while doing something that we enjoy -- searching the web. When you sign up to be a guide, you pick three areas of expertize. These are your keywords. Then you begin doing training on those keywords. Experienced guides play the part of searchers and ask you to find them websites based on your chosen words. They also answer questions and often provide hints and tips to help you learn to be a great guide. At the end of each session you get a rating. Once you have about 10 positively rated searches on any one of your keywords, you get to go Pro. This can take as little as an hour to do. From that point forward you begin to earn money. Actual web-searchers will ask you queries. You just find them sites that fit their needs and then they rate your results. The pay scale is difficult to explain, but the site suggests that you can make up to $10 per hour of active searching time. You get to set your own hours: log in and out whenever you like.

Primarily Primates needs your help!

Anyone who knows me at all knows that animal charities are very close to my heart. That said, I would like to introduce you to Willie. Willie is just one of many apes and monkeys currently living at Primarily Primates in San Antonio Texas. These poor guys have been through a lot lately! The entire facility was recently seized from its previous management due to improper veterinary care, unsanitary conditions, unsafe enclosures, overcrowding and a general lack of care for the animals.

Fortunately for Willie and the others though, new people are taking over and seeing that things are put right. The soft and comfy bed of hay and the contentment on Willie's face are just two of the things the new management has brought to the sanctuary. Unfortunately, this is no easy task! They need help if they are going to help all of the animals now in their care. Of course, one of the primary things needed (as always) is money, but there are plenty of other ways to help too! I love that he seems to keep looking around to make sure noone is watching. Nah dude, keep dancing. Just you and the security cameras here.

From time to time, I'm sure you've seen me post reviews of various websites and products here. I enjoy doing that, and would like to do more of it, but I don't want it to take over this space. This is my personal blog, and it was starting to feel almost commercial. So, time for a new blog! Bun-Girl's Reviews will be just what the title promises: reviews. If you like reading the reviews I write, go ahead and subscribe to the RSS over there or add it to your bookmarks or however you like to keep track of such things. This doesn't mean you'll never see another review on this site. Now and then such things may happen. But the majority of my reviews will be done over there.
