I started a new position this week, and though it's not difficult, the
learning process is using up all of my available brain cells, so I haven't
had any left for blogging, illustrating, or really much of anything else.
Sorry. Hopefully next week will be better.

I do not watch reality TV

But I may find myself watching American Idol this season. If href="http://bpnews.org/bpnews.asp?ID=20082">this guy is any good, I
will certainly watch in support of him. I love what he is trying to do,
and while I don't hold much hope that the average AI viewer will be ready
and willing to accept him, I do hold some hope that maybe he can reach a
few people out there, and maybe he can pave the way for others. Anyway, go
read about him for yourself. What an exciting calling! (And he's fairly
local too...)

Illustration Friday Theme: Year of the Rooster

Well, I wanted to accomplish two things with this:

1. I wanted him to look unfinished, as the year is just beginning and we don't really know what it may look like by the end. (I think instead of unfinished, it looks sloppy...)

2. I wanted him to be looking up. I think I sorta got this one, kinda.
